undefinedWhat is the name of your state? Texas
I'm an artist who is doing paintings of a university which includes well known buildings. I'm selling copies in book stores, etc. in the same city. I use no logo, name, or registered trademark in the painting. However, I'm told by someone within the collegiate licensing industry that there is still a strong likelihood of confusion as to endorsement by the university. I've begun using a disclaimer on the back that denies any endorsement/affiliation etc. to the university.
Is this really infringement?
Don't I have the right to do this without getting the product licensed?
Thanks for any advice.
