getting sued for a car that was never mine, just in my name.
what can i do im getting sued for $3,599.72 i didnt send of the release of liability off. i was never the owner of the car, i put in my name because my x-boy friend asked me to we where together at the time.
we broke up he gave the car to his new girl friend she wrecked it now im getting sued. i dont even know how to drive a 66 rambler
is there any thing i can do?

WHY would you put a car in your name that is not yours??? And then not take it off when you break up???

I belive thats why there trying to sue me because she didnt have insurance.
She gave them her name and told them that the car blonged to her. Thats what the insurance company that is trying to sue me, told me.
I havent talked to her, only because were not the best of friends, and i heard she moved to Oaklahoma.
