Call Center/Franchisees Concerns
What is the name of your state?PA
I represent a group of franchisees who are going to be forced by our franchisor to use a central call center that we fear will put us out of business. They have said that when we do, that we cannot change our prices at will, as we do now. We would have to wait 2-3 week for approval. Is this pricefixing? The owner Verol Ablak has been quoted in magazines as saying the call center has increased sales. We have evidence that it has not, infact sales have decreased since the inception of this central call center in most of the stores that are on it. We as a franchise group want to stay as Vocelli in the pittsburgh area and form an assn, but individually have been leaned on not to. The disclosures that are to made by the franchisor, as to the backgrounds of the directors have been falsified. We pay into advertising co-ops, and the franchisor refuses to give us, as members of the co-op, ledgers and figures as to thier financial input. Is there anything we can do?
