What is the name of your state? Texas and Oklahoma
I had to hire a private lawyer to ger my back child support because the state of oklahoma would not go after the father. They had all the infor they needed such as where he was where he worked. After I hired the lawyer it took me 6 months to get my back child support. I want to know if I can take the state of Oklahoma to small claims court to get the money that I had to pay the laywer back form them since they failed to do their job. Not trying to be rude but if you cannot give me an answer please don't leave me messages of how I need a state statute if I knew all of this I would not need legal advice. I just want to know if I would be wasing my time and money by going to small claims court

Could you reference the state law or statute that requires Oklahoma to collect your child support?
