just had a question on what to do when someone makes a death threat towards me and my family, whats steps do i need to do in order to prevent any harm to us?

That depends on lots of factors. How credible is the threat?? Did you report this threat to the police?? Etc.

Ditto what JetX said ... and out here, depending on how the threat was relayed, and how credible and immediate it might have been will determine how serious an offense it is.
