What is the name of your state?Minnesota
In May of 1998 I was in an auto accident with no insurance..my fault. I went to court for this along time ago and paid my fines. The other parties insurance company who I have heard from once in the last 6+ years took me to court and sued me for $8000. I knew of no court hearing and just recieved a letter today that a judgement has been entered in their favor and docketed. Is their a statute of limitations at all? Shouldn't I have been notified that I was being sued and been able to be at court too?
