Company is threatening to lay off 3 people on our job in retalliation to a grievance filed by approx 15 of 20 personel. Grievance was filed because a company manager was doing work in a closed union shop. Company is claiming we are overstaffed. Company denied grievance and union reps are not helping because all the reps are in another department and layoffs will not effect them. What can we do and who should we contact to help us? Company is a federal/state/county funded transit authority and managment has ties to state and county elected officials.
