 I live in Orange County, California. If anyone can give in any advice in what i can do it would be greatly appreciated. I need to file a case in small claims court. Here is my problem: the guy I want to sue has recently moved. He has no forwarding address, no job (works under the table-I do not know where), no property, and is refusing my calls. He is just a room-mate so there's no lease or bills in his name. He only has a cell phone. The only information I have is: drivers license number, previous addresses, birthdate, and full name. I also know he lives in or very near the city of Orange in California. I can't even file my case until I get his new address. If anyone knows anything I can do about this please let me know. I know the obvious is hire a personal investigator but I can't afford one.

I have found a website http://www.recordscheck.net/products.html that has a good reverse lookup for unlisted and cell phone numbers (if you have the cell phone number, you stand a pretty good chance of getting the address, or at least the exact city). They charge $15 and it is an instant search. I've looked at other websites that charge $40-$150 to get an address from a cell phone number, but it may or may not be worth it to you. Here's one I found that charges $39.95 http://www.efindoutthetruth.com/PhoneBreaks.htm and another for $50 http://www.infoplaza.com/ There is several of these websites and most have a "no hit, no charge" policy, so you do not have anything to lose.

I hope that helps you!
