I recently went to a furniture store and inquired about the price of some living room furniture. I was given a written price on the back of a business card. When I went back to the store, the clerk informed me it was not the correct price and it would be $400 more. Is this legal? Can we insist that we are given the price that was written on the business card? Do we have any legal right?

The business card would not constitute a contract to sell the furniture at that price, thus, you can't sue them over it.

If you don't like the store's prices, you don't have to shop there.
