What is the name of your state?CA


I was wondering how I find out what the procedure in that the animal shelters in Los Angeles need to follow for picked up animals, sick and for specific breeds.

What I need is the law, I guess that they need to follow before adopting out etc.

First question would be WHICH Animal Shelter? Different animal shelters follow different guidelines. Some are private and some are public - they don't all have to follow the same rules.

Are you talking about the Los Angeles Department of Animal Regulation? If so, you can ask them yourself by going to the Government pages in the beginning of the White Pages of your telephone book. Ask them. They'll be glad to answer your questions.
