What is the name of your state? California
I'm 57. My yearly SS statement always incorrectly says I had no income in 1975. The SS national office says they don't keep records that far back and my local office only says I need to get proof of income that year, which I doubt I can obtain. What else can I do? Also, for decades I've been contributing the maximum each year because I'm lucky enough to have been making about $100,000 or more per year, so will proving my 1975 income make any difference to my SSI or will I get the maximum anyway? Thanks
