someone pulled out in front of a guy in front of me. the guy in front of me slammed on his brakes, twice, i slammed on my brakes, and hit the guy in front of me. the cops came and gave me the drivers insurance that pulled out in front of me, is his insurance responsible for the damages. if not why would the police tell me he is.

as far as i know, if you hit the guy in front of you, you are at fault. you were travling too close. a cop told a friend of mine that he dosnt care if a plane fell out of the sky, if you hit them in the rear, you are at fault.
