OK, I know I made a mistake, but I let my unlicensed girlfriend(at the time) drive my car. Unfortunately, she backed it into a mobile home. She agreed to pay for the repairs, but know she has backed out. I have IM conversations in which she admits wrecking it and agreeing to repair it.

If I take her to court (KY) over this, do I stand a chance of getting what I am owed. We had a verbal agreement.

Any help will be appreciated.

sure you have a chance. take your soon to be ex-girlfriend to court. she was driving the car and caused damage. case closed.

Can I infer that you paid the old lady for the damages, with the verbal agreement that your girlfriend pay you back? If so, take her to small claims court. That's your only recourse.
