My son accidently backed over a neighbors bicycle in our driveway and damaged his car and the neighbors bike. Who is responsible and how should damage be paid?

Who is responsible

MY RESPONSE: The parents of the child. It's their responsibility to gather up all their children's toys, and not to be a nuisance to the neighborhood.

and how should damage be paid?

MY RESPONSE:

Preferably in cash.
