What is the name of your state?

Arkansas

What is the legal age that your boyfriend can't get in trouble for having sexual contact if he is over age?

In other words you have an adult boyfriend and you want to know if he can get in trouble for the two of you doing the "mattress mombo"?

Chances are he can. Even if you are over the age of consent there are always laws relating to delinquency that can come back to bite him - especially if mom and dad disapprove.

And in all of this you never once have told this forum how old this "CHILD" was when she had the child. Or don't you think THAT FACT just might be important?

O.K. since you worded it so, I will assume you are the mother. So, before we go any further, YOU have no rights on whose name she puts on the B/C so butt out.

As to this issue, the 'father' of the child has committed at a minimum, a felony: Get a copy of the Arkansas Code below then file charges against his ass. He can have a ball playing bitch to "Bubba" while your daughter raises her baby.

5-14-125. Sexual assault in the second degree.

Happy, I have since learned the Poster is the baby who had a baby. She has three separate posts on this forum for the same related situation. And under Arkansas Codes it's Second degree sexual assault, a felony.
Ahhh, that explains a lot. HG was right poster chose a good name for herself. She writes they when she means we. She writes she when she means I.

Sounds like the start of a country song.

Is there a time period or does it really matter is it really a second degree felony can he get out of it?

If your mom wants to press charges against the 23 YEAR OLD MAN who got her 15 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER pregnant she can. However why she is waiting until now to do it is beyond me!! This is something she should have done when she found out this MAN got her CHILD knocked up! The bottom line is there is nothing he can do if your mom decides to press charges. There are reasons what he did is against the law! You are not old enough or mature enough to be with a 23 year old man and the fact you have a 4 month old child proves that.

He can and should go to jail. Charges can be pressed now ... in fact, for sex crimes, there is likely a very long window of opportunity to pursue them. He can be arrested and charged for a felony, and forced to register for life as a sex offender.

The evidence is pretty strong ... the child.

If the state pursues the matter, he's gone.
