If the father's name is not on the birth certificate does his parents still have grandparents rights or do they not? Can i take the grandparents rights away?

Grandparents have no inherent rights. They only have the option of petitioning the court for visitation rights.

However, if their son is not on the birth certificate, and paternity hasn't been legally established, then no, they cannot file for visitation rights.
