What is the name of your state? illinois My son just moved from Michigan to Chicago. He used an avis rental truck. Someone is claiming he hit them in Chicago area and avis says he will have to pay because he was driving recklessly. He dosn't even know what was supposed to have happened and there is no damage to the truck. The other driver supposedly has a witness. So does my son, his father was with him the whole time. How should we handle this. my son has no money and only owns a car{not insured because hes not driving it.} Avis states he will be responsible to reimberse them for whatever it costs them.
