What is the name of your state? California.
When a husband and wife or both on title to a home and the divorce starts. The husband moves out to an apartment and the wife stays in the house and makes 100% of the payments while the court case last two years before the divorce is settled, does the equity increase for both parties the same or does the husbands part end on the seperation date? I'm getting conflicting stories on this. Thanks for any advice.

I would think that the equity continues to accrue until one is paid for their share and has the use of that money.

The person having use of the property should be paying for that use.
