What is the name of your state? NY
My husband and I have been married for 4and a half hears but have been living apart for 9 months. We both want to start the divorce proceedings but are unsure about how to go about it. It is an uncontested divorce and we don't have any property or home to share. When I looked under NY state divorce, the courts apparently want us to file under certain headings such as adultery, abuse etc... There was adultery involved in our case but is there any way to file without branding a person an adulterer? Can we file suing irreconcilable differences?
Thank you for your responses
