I pulled into my bank's 2-lane circular drive to make a deposit at the walk-up ATM. There were no envelopes so I rushed inside, gave the teller the pre-filled out deposit slip and pre-endorsed checks (2). He gave me a receipt and I hurried back to my car. It took no more than 5 minutes. In those few minutes I received a $250 ticket for "Parking" in a fire lane. I maintain that I was making an expeditious delivery, not parking. The sign did not say "no stopping or standing" it only said "no parking". Others stop at that same location every day to make deliveries, use the ATM, or step inside. Do I have a chance?
