We are attempting to purchase a local dealership of a national chain store. We have an agreement with the present owners and have been waiting for approval from the company. Is there a time frame when they have to give us an answer (it has been 6 weeks)? Also, if you are rejected for a franchise owner, does the company have to give you a notification in writing of the rejection and the reason?
