contract dispute web/designer

I paid a web designer $1,500 to put a site together for me. The agreement was 1,500 down and $750.00 on completion. He assured me that this would only take a couple of weeks but we had no time stipulations in our contract and it has been 3 months now . What options do I have?

Do you want to continue with him or cancel and find someone else? You need to get estimates/bids from other parties on their cost to complete what he has done so you can make decision to continue with the person you have or hire someone else. You have the right to cancel the contract if you desire.
