What is the name of your state? NJ

Hello. An Ex-attorney of mine was acting for me since I am living out of state.
he has my proprietary leases of the coop units I mentioned in the previous question, and has refused to return the documents to me. He says he has a lien on them - I asked him to show me proof of a lien, and in any case he already has my $$ in his trust account how can he put a lien on my documents without a court order??

I am unable to sell my property without the proprietary leases.

Question:

1) Are the documents still valid since the coop said it revoked my lease?
2) Does the attorney have the right to keep my property? It is a huge
breach of fiduciary duty in my mind!
3) Can I sue attorney for damages or fraud etc to regain my property
documents?

Thanks, don't know where to turn
