What is the name of your state? Michigan
A friend of mine has a brother that was living in S.C. and apparently drawing unemployment from that state. The stay was suppose to be short term and while here the friend deposited the unemployment checks into his account for his brother since he had no accounts here of his own. Later he finds out that the brother may have received the checks fraudulently because you have to be in a state to collect these benefits. The question is how responsible would the brother depositing the checks be?
