What is the name of your state? FL
My parents gave us land (under both names) assuming it would be "happy ever after" and that we later would pass it on to our children.
During a divorce, is it required to sell it to continue the process.
I would like to keep my parents intentions.
Thanksin advance!

You could agree to keep it as is (which generally isn't a great idea as people's intentions change over time in a divorce situation), you could buy your spouse out, yuo could sell and split the proceeds.

Do you have kids now? If so, could you get him to agree to put the land in "trust" for your children? That might be another option.
