What is the name of your state? Texas
My lawyer did not send in the ONE letter needed by social security administration to determine my RSDI benefits which had been on the works for 6 years, with appeals, appeals. I was denied because they did not get that letter. I fired my lawyer and re-applied and submitted that one letter got my benefits within 120 days. But I lost my back pay. This happened in 6/03.
Can I sue the lawyer for negligence in sending the letter and costing me to lose my back pay of RSDI benefits.
I sure do need that back pay as I am not able to work due to deterioating
discs.
