What is the name of your state? new york Lawyer has not answers our calls about the status of our asbestos lawsuit for several years. We filed with the state committee that checks on lawyers and found out he was sick and has since died. This lawyer was hired by a Mass. law firm to cover the new york cases. Is the Mass. firm still held liable for our claims. Can we file as creditors against his estate. Whil checking out things it seems that there may had been seetlements that came in but we never received.
