What is the name of your state? Kentucky

I am an 18 year old just out of high school. I'm currently attending a university in Kentucky and working part time as a computer technician for a local school system.
I am rewarded with some benefits as an employee (credit union, etc)
But have been clearly told, I'm just part time. I work 25 hours a week max.
Here is any policy in my Employee Handbook which is a verbal agreement by the staff. Only faculty and administrators sign a contract.

CAL Handbook EMP 2.2 " A full-time employee is one who is scheduled a minimum of 35 hours a week and 175 days a year."

CAL Handbook EMP 4.3 Personal Lifestyles "The greatest impact on the students at Christian Academy schools will come from Christian commitment lived out the lives of faculty, staff, and school administration. All staff members are to conduct themselves, both at and away from school, as responsible Christians. It is expected that staff members' lifestyles will be based on strong moral biblical principles regular church attendance, and a commitment to positive values."

CAL Handbook EMP 4.3
“Standards for Christian Lifestyles
1.) I agree that, as part of the qualifications for this position, I am a “born-again” Christian who knows the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior (John 3:.3, 1 Peter 1:23). I accept without verbal or mental reservations the school’s statement of Faith, and am committed to upholding it. I also give my testimony that my work in this Christian school is God’s direction for my life for this school year.
2.) I agree to manifest by daily example the highest Christian virtue serving as a Christian role model (1 Timothy 4:12) both in and out of school to pupils (Luke 6:40), parents, and fellow employees. I agree to be a role model in judgment, dignity, respect, and Christian living. I acknowledge that this includes, but is not limited to, the refraining of such activities as the use of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, illegal drugs, the improper use of prescription or over-the-counter drugs, and the use of vulgar and profane language (Colossians 3:17, Titus 2:7-8, 1 Thessalonians 2:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, 22-23, James 3:17-18).
3.) I agree to accept the Board of Director’s interpretation of biblical standards for my sexual behavior. That any sexual misconduct-including, but not limited to-premarital, extramarital, or homosexual activity; sexual harassment; use or viewing of pornographic material or websites; and sexual abuse of children is forbidden and violates the employment requirement of being a Christian role model. I agree that such behaviors are grounds for immediate dismissal from my position in this school system. I also agree that the unique roles of the male and female are clearly defined in Scripture (Romans 1:24-32; Romans 12:1-2; 1 Corinthians 6:9-20; Ephesians 4:1-11, 5:3-5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8; 1 Timothy 4:12; 2 Timothy 2:19-22; 1 Peter 1:15-16, 2:15-17; 1 John 3:1-3).”

CAL Handbook Appendix C: Harassment and Sexual Harassment Policies
"A: Employee and Student Relations Policy,
It is the policy of Christian Academy of Louisville to practice equal opportunity without regard to an individual’s race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in application of any policy, practice, rule or regulation. Functioning as an integral part of the church, we can and do discriminate on the basis of religion.
Any form of harassment between employees, between employees and students, or between students based upon any of the characteristics described above, including sexual harassment is absolutely prohibited."

Section 2: Employee Sexual Harassment Policy
"A: Employee Sexual Harassment Policy
Christian Academy is committed to maintain a Christ-centered work environment in which all individuals treat each other with dignity and respect and which is free from all forms of intimidation, exploitation, and harassment, including sexual harassment. This school is prepared to take action to prevent and correct any violations of this policy. Anyone who violates this policy will be subject to discipline, up to and including termination."

"B: Definition of Sexual Harassment
"Sexual Harassment" means unwelcome sexual advances, request for sexual favors, and other verbal, visual, or physical conduct of a sexual nature, made by someone from or in the work or education setting, under any of the following conditions:;
1. Submission to the conduct is explicitly or implicitly made a term or condition of an individual's employment.
2. Submission to or rejection of, the conduct by the individual is used as a basis of employment decisions affecting the individual.
3. The conduct has the purpose or effect of having a negative impact upon the individual's work performance, or of creating and intimidating, hostile, or offensive, work environment.
4. Submission to, or rejection of, the conduct by the individual is used as the basis for any decision affecting the individual regarding benefits and services, honors, programs, or activities available at or through this school.”

“C: Examples of Sexual Harassment
Unwelcome sexual conduct of this type can include a wide range of verbal, visual or physical conduct of a sexual nature. Among the types of conduct which would violate this policy are the following:
1. Unwanted sexual advances or propositions;
2. Offering employment benefits in exchange for sexual favors;
3. Making or threatening reprisals after a negative response to sexual advances;
4. Visual conduct such as leering, making sexual gestures, displaying sexually suggestive objects or pictures, cartoons or posters;
5. Verbal conduct such as making or using derogatory comments, epithets, slurs, and jokes;
6. Verbal abuse of a sexual nature, graphic verbal commentaries about an individual’s body, sexually degrading words used to describe an individual, obscene letters, notes or invitation; and
7. Physical conduct such as touching, assaulting, impeding, or blocking movements.”

I have been targeted by many people for talking to students, particularly females.
I see no place in this Handbook where I am committing a violation of the Handbook.
I also see no violation or problem with dating a student, as long as
1.) She is of consenting age to date an Adult (16 in Kentucky)
2.) No sexual activity occurs
3.) No contact, verbal, visual, or physical while on campus

Please help me understand why I am being told that going to a movie with a student, especially a female will get me fired.

Thanks

It's very simple.

If your employer is unhappy with your performance or behavior, they may fire you regardless of whether the specific behavior is spelled out in the handbook or not. I'll bet the handbook does not specifically say that you can't punch your supervisor in the nose or set fire to the Accounting Department, but you can bet your boots that if you do either one, you'll get fired.

If your employer has told you that if you take a 16 year old student to the movies you'll be fired, then you can either refrain from taking her to the movies, or you can be fired. Your choice. Doesn't make a darned bit of difference if she is of legal age and it doesn't make a darned bit of difference how exemplary your behavior is. They are your employer and they make the rules.
