What is the name of your state? Georgia

My condo complex has a property manager that handles the day to day management and emergencies. This mgmt company has become angered at the board and has now started spreading rumors about the board, their intentions/ actions, and started to campaign to have the board removed. At this point the complex is becoming divided on this issue and it has become a hostile environment.

The board terminated the contract with the property mgmt co but some owners continue to be contacted by the mgmt company. Can the mgmt company continue this? Is there anything we can do as owners to prevent the mgmt company from causing additional harm and providing more erroneous info?

Has anyone else seen such actions from a property manager? We considered filing a complaint but the mgr is not a member of CAI; so we are not sure where to go next. We are not sure if it has to be the board that files a complaint or if a group of owners can file.

**A: the board, HOA and/or a group of owners could file a restraining order against the mgt. company. There is no requirement that the company belong to CAI or any other professional association. Also a complaint could be filed with the state against the real estate broker's license.
