I'm not sure if this is the right forum but here's my question. Husband received payment for a job to make booths for a pizza place. Our bank called and the item was returned for non-sufficient funds. The Payee said to redeposit it that he had failed to make a transfer but the funds are now there. In the meantime we have accumulated $165.00 is fees assessed by our bank for checks we had sent out that they are paying but charging a fee. The payee is refusing to pay for the charges. Can we do anything and if so what? Thanks...
