California - I received a correctable citation from an LAPD officer on 10/14/2004 for not having my front plates on the car. According to the citation, I have until 12/01/04 to correct this and fully intend to do so.

I then received a parking violation for the same offense (car was parked and i was not in it) on 11/15/04.

How do i have the second citation dismissed or am I out of luck ?

You can't have the second one dismissed. Each and every time you put the car on the road, you can get cited again until the violation is fixed. In fact, you COULD get cited for FAILING to correct the violation even though it is prior to the court date.

You will have to deal with both of them.
