What is the name of your state?Florida
We purchased a (brand new) Dell computer online from a seller that had impeccable feedback (600+). We then sold the computer (without opening it), also on eBay. An individual in Canada bought the computer and upon receiving it is claiming several components are missing. We have no idea how the parts can be missing, as the box was never opened and the Dell Packing tape was still intact. The original seller has sent us the shipping information from Dell, and it shows that all the components were there when it was shipped, and there is a warranty. The Canadian wants a full refund of the purchase price, along with what he paid for customs and shipping. At this point, we refuse to refund him, due to the fact we think he is being dishonest. Why would we, or anyone for that matter, remove small items like the graphic card?
The buyer is threatening to take us to small claims court in Canada. We live in Florida. Does anyone know what he can do to us? There is no way we are going to court in Canada for a $700 computer.
Any advice would be appreciated!
