What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? NC
I am a military spouse. While overseas with my husband, my ex-husband and his current wife sold our mariltal property (land and house). Ex-husband's wife pretended to be me and signed all documentation...my question is...can I sue the attorney that notarized the sale? I have all documentation that I was at work in Germany on that very day that the sale was made and had no knowledge of this happening.
 I have known about this since Nov. 2002...had an attorney but he failed me to no end. He is no longer practicing law and I have wasted nearly 2 years. The DA is currently proceeding the case with my ex-husband his his wife for criminal charges for forgery.
Please help...I am currently living in LA with my husband, whom is still in the military.
