What is the name of your state? NJ
Ugghh, what a day. Had a squeaky clean driving record, got a speeding ticket ticket today. Very strange as I had my cruise set to 63 mph and cop says he clocked me (using radar, type unknown/undisclosed) at 73 mph in a 55 mph (Rt. 22 West in Hunterdon County). Guess I'll get my speedometer and cruise control checked when I have my oil changed next week. It appears to be functioning working properly though and it's a newish (2003) vehicle.
Anyway, my question is this - how do I get my hands on all the info. I want to prepare my case (court date per ticket is 12/14)? I understand lawyers and other officers of the court can subpoena pertitent documents but how does your average lay person, representing themselves do so?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Margaret
