Parking Violation in Washington DC

What is the name of your state? New York

Hi,
Thanksgiving weekend was not so good for me . I went to Washington DC for a vacation and got a Parking ticket (code P259) of $100. My question is , do I have to pay the same , as I am from different state ? Does DC DMV shares information with NY-Upstate DMV ? Please advise ?

Well hell no you don't have to pay it. Since you're from New York that kind of behavior is expected.
