A geologist buys a "rock" from an inexperienced sales clerk at a mineral and crystal shop for $50.00. Subsequently. the rock was determined to be worth a $100,000.00. The owner seeks rescind the sale. What is the likely legal outcome?

An employee of a business is considered an agent of the owner and if the clerk was authorized to sell the rock, the sale is final.
