I was issued a $20 citation yesterday after I got into an accident for "failure to use care when passing." Although this did happen and there were witnesses to the accident, the officer never had me sign the citation where it reads "VIOLATOR ACKNOWLEDGES RECIEPT OF CITATION." He signed his part, though. I don't mind the fee, but I dont want this to appear on my record. Is there any way I can have the citation dropped since I never signed it?
