What is the name of your state?ohio

I got a speeding ticket Saturday, but the cop asked me some weird questions...do I have a job, where do I work, and what is my phone #. None of the info even appears on the ticket...is this legal for him to ask? Why would he ask? Also, on the actual ticket he wrote down a wrong color for my vehicle. Would any of this help me contest the ticket? Thanks for any advice!

Weird - perhaps. Illegal or improper, no. He might have been asking those questions to determine if you were a resident (if you had out of state plates or an out of state license), maybe you looked like someone he thought he knew, he might have been making small talk - who knows?

The wrong color of the car will not effect the speeding citation. If he had the wrong color, license plate, make and model - yeah. But not simply the wrong color.
