calif,

my sr22 says that i can only operate motor vehichles registered in my name. first question 1)i work for USFS my job requires that i drive a G.O.V does this still apply. 2.) what is the reasoning behind this law>?

(1) Ask your employer. Chances are they are self-insured so you won't need to worry about it.

(2) To make sure that you are driving with at least minimal coverage.
