My business partner has failed to get copies of cancelled checks that were written to an enity or a business that we advanced money to. I would like to take this entity to court to recover the monies, however, without the copies of cancelled checks, I am unable to do so. Is there any recourse that I have to force my business partner to obtain the cancelled checks?
