My fiancee, who is Cuban, recently got a visa to enter the U.S. I understand that the visa allows her to be here for 90 day, during which we get married or she goes back. However, given her nationality, is it possible for her to stay here without us getting married?
I know that Cubans who arrive here by boat, and manage to reach the shores, are allowed to stay. I was wondering if that same provision would apply to a Cuban who came her by legal means.
If not, what else can I do so she could stay here? I do have plans on marriage, but I want to explore as many options as possible and, thereby, reduce the pressure of the 90 day limit. Thanks.
