What is the name of your state?missouri. our daughter pass away dec.9 2004 she had been married 2 and ahalf years. she left behind a 2 and 3 year old girls. the 3 year old is not her husband biological daughter. he lives on welfare and says he can not work .we told him we would take the girls for him and he would see them anytime he like. he let us bring home the three year old for a little while. then he came and got her back saying she was his daughter and not ours.he said at was going to be hard for him because he was losing same of his welfare because our daughter pass away. we would like to get the girls. we are the biological grandparents. we ask to keep the 3 year old that is not his biological. he did put his name on her birthcerti. do we have anychange. i dont believe we will see the girls much. please help figure this out.

They HAVE a legal father, both girls. Either work out with their father helping to care for them or take your chances (remind you of a snowball in hell) in court where you have no legal standing.
