I help single moms and foreign student for their legal matters as my volunteer work. I'm not an attorney but Paralegal. What I usually do is to find pro bono attorneys for them. But this season I am having a hard time finding one for this question. Please help.

One of my clients is a foreign student and has F-1. She is going to get married to her boyfriend who is American. Would it be easier for her (or can she) to file K-1 here in the US or should she go back go her country to do so because she has student status? Any big conflicts?

Thank you very much!!
