I know a family that was sponsored to the US by a sibling, who's a US citizen. The sponsorship took more than a decade, and it was ratified last year. Unfortunately, two of their children were not able to come with them since they are older than 21. They are still unmarried. My question is that the sponsorship was started when all their children were way under 21. Unfortunately due to the length, they are no longer under 21 (not by much). Is there a way that they can come to the US and be with their family instead of having them wait until the next sponsorship (parents to children)? It seems unfair for the family to wait this long to come the the US and then separated them from 2 of their three children.

Thanks for your advice.
