During my prevoius visit to the US, i was arrested for 2 days for drinking in a airport. there was no fine or conviction. i returned to my home country after taht. now i intend to come back on either a B1 or H1. what are my chances of getting a visa ? the INS laws state that you are excludable if the arrest period is for 6 months or more. but it still is the US consulate's choice to give the visa or not. can someone please advice ?
