I applied for the US citizenship, paid the fees, passed succesfully all the steps in obtaining it, including the citizenship exam, and was told that I would take the Oath "within a month or two". It was in June, 10 months ago. I sent two registered letters politely inquiring about my status. no answer. I suspect they lost my documents. Is there anything I can do? Can I contact anyone who could help me?

Have they cashed the check that you sent in with the forms?
Send them the photocopies of the application and materials that you submitted, with you rnext letter. (always make sure that you keep copies of everything)
