I came to the US as a student. I got married and I believe I was out of status from three months after we got married and before I applied for adjustment of status. My husband is my sponsor, but he quit his job in Nov99 and now his parents help us with an allowance of $2,000 a month. We live in a house they bought us. I make $13,000 a year. Am I in trouble for overstaying my F1? Will the INS deny my request because my husband is unemployed?
Thanks!!!
