we are in the process of obtaining my K-1 but already forsee a timeline issue with my fiance's career. it is a strong possibility he will be out of country either shortly after i arrive or for the entire duration of my visa. since timelines from the INS are not specific, it's become a gamble with time!
worst case scenario would be to receive my visa and not be able to act on it. can we reapply for another K-1?
