What is the name of your state? Washington.

In Washington State, if you plead guilty and accept to pay, the court can defer the findings that you were guilty for a year, and if you don't have any other moving violations within that year, then it doesn't go on your record.

So I wonder if the year that you have to keep your record clean stretches from a year from when you got the ticket, or is it a year from the court date?
