My daughter wants her Korean name changed to an American one. She has South Korean citizenship, is 16 years old, and has US green card. Her passport is the only proof of birth. My ex-husband and I adopted her in 1990 while in South Korea, we are US citizens. The adoption papers are written in Korean only. She wishes to apply for US citizenship soon, with new American name. Both adopting parents and child live on central Florida. What would be the simplest and least expensive way to achieve this?
